I absolutely love Primark and can spend then the whole day shopping in there. Whenever I am planning a trip to London, I always set money aside as well as leave room in my luggage just so I'll have space to bring back all my Primark goodies...

Hi y'all!

We have a new shopping haul video on your YouTube channel for you to check out! Earlier in the Spring and Summer, I went on a hunt for sporty shoes to buy and step up my shoe game. I have never really been hardcore into sneakers outside of using them to workout in or to play a sport. I recently started to get a bit more into sporty looks. Events: Weekend African Fashion Pop-Up Shops & Block Party

Friday is finally here and there are a lot of great events to check out this weekend!

This Saturdau is going to be quite an eventful one! Two African fashion brands will be holding their pop-up shops over the weekend, so if you are looking for some new pieces to rock this summer, definitely check them out. In addition, Supafrik & The African Experience Festival have joined forces to throw the biggest Afrobeat Block party this city has seen!

Events: Summertime Shine Pop-Up Shop Recap

Hi fellow Afrofusioners! Keshia here with a recap of my experience at this wonderful pop-up shop event. 

To kick-start the summer, This past Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the "Summertime Shine ‘17” Pop-up Shop event at the fabulous Dash Boutique. Dash Boutique hosted 3 local designers who showcased summertime essentials for both men and women. While I sipped on some cocktails and enjoyed the live mix of music by a dj in-store, I had the pleasure of chatting with the designers and admire their fabulous merchandise...

Event: Summertime Shine Pop-Up Shop

Get all the items necessary to be summertime fine at the Summertime Shine Pop-up Shop this weekend!

3 local Toronto brands have come together to put on this great event to help get to into summer mode. At this pop-up shop, you will be able to shop some chic swimsuits by MAKOA, stylish sunglasses by CREATE blk Lotus and fabulous accessories by Likha Luxe. To further enjoy your shopping experience, you can sip on some complimentary champagne and jam to the tunes of the live DJ. Furthermore, there will also be chances win door prizes & giveaways!

The weather is getting warmer so its time to start to bring out your spring wear. That means, put away your sweaters and bring out your T-shirts! We all have those days were we just wanna throw on a t-shirt and go out, however sometimes its fun to dress up that same t-shirt into a cute outfit. Lookbook: It's all about Burgundy

Although Spring has officially started, we are unfortunately still experiencing the cold winter weather. Therefore, in this transitional seasonal time, why not rock some coloured outerwear to brighten things up!

Burgundy is one of my favourite colours to wear during the winter. I like that its deep tone brings a pop of colour to a look, without being too bright in a gloomy winter setting. Therefore, when putting this lookbook together, Burgundy was the obvious colour of choice.

Events: Kuwala Style Bazaar Recap

Fabulous fashions at the Kuwala Style Bazaar!

A couple weeks ago I attended the Kuwala Style Bazaar, where I browsed through their extensive selection of African inspired fashions and accessories up for sale. In addition to the Kuwala brand merchandise, there were also other local designers present offering pieces from their brand for sale as well.

I has such great time checking out the beautiful fashions from the various brands as well as chatting a bit with the designers and attendees at the event. Within the Style Bazaar there were fashion brands that I was familiar with, however, I was also introduced to a few new brands that y'all should definitely check out!

Events: Clutch Life 85 x Harlem Underground Sunday Brunch Pop-Up Shop

I'm about that Clutch Life!

A few weeks ago, I attended the Clutch Life 85 x Harlem Underground Sunday Brunch Pop-Up Shop with a few friends. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than to eat and shop!

Upon arrival to the event, we were welcomed by some cool hip hop tunes which set a nice, chilled ambiance. To start things off, we all went to the pop-up shop area to check out all the Clutch Life 85 custom graphic t-shirts and apparel available for purchase. They had a large selection of different t-shirts on sale from their various collections, such as their Clutch, Fete Season and T-Dot collections...

Events: Joe Fresh x Elle Canada Shopping Event

A couple weeks ago I attended a Joe Fresh x ELLE Magazine Canada event held at the Queen St. West Joe Fresh location. I brought along with me my friend and fellow blogger Miss. Eseeri of www.simplyeseeri.com. Of course, I love that the Joe Fresh brand colour is the same as my favourite colour, so y'all know I had to rock some orange for the event lol.

Shopping: New Beauty Products Shopping Haul

Getting my face Beat by Banda had me wanting to step up my makeup game!

This led me to go on a beauty shopping bing lol. I picked up a number of new products to add to the current ones I use. I went all over to Winners, Shoppers Drugmart, Rexall and Walmart to pick up items. I still need to visit Sephora for a few things I would like to try.

Now all I have to do is test out all of this new stuff. Youtube will definitely be my bff for the next few weeks lol!

Design Ideas: Soup For Two Please...

 

I just love shopping for home decor and houseware items. Homesense, Winners and Marshalls are my go to spots when the urge arises. I can't go a week without going to one of these stores to browse for some new houseware or home decor items! I just picked up a a few new pieces of dinnerware items from Homesense and Marshalls and couldn't wait to use some of the items to create a cute summer table setting idea to share with you all. I've also incorporated some items I recently purchases from Anthropologie as well as (believe it or not) Dollarama!

Unfortunately, my place is not large enough for a full size dining table, so I always try to think of creative ways to set my narrow bar height dining table, which can comfortably seat 2 - 4 people. Seeing as we are well into the summer, thought it would be perfect to create a fun summer themed table setting perfect for a simple soup lunch or dinner for two...
