We have a new shopping haul video on your YouTube channel for you to check out! Earlier in the Spring and Summer, I went on a hunt for sporty shoes to buy and step up my shoe game. I have never really been hardcore into sneakers outside of using them to workout in or to play a sport. I recently started to get a bit more into sporty looks. Therefore thought it was about time I up my sneaker game and have more shoe options in creating stylish sporty chic looks.

Events: K-Swiss Shoes Re-Launch Event

Throwback to a fun event I attended back in December.

Do y'all remember the brand K-Swiss shoes? My memory of the brand is it being one of the hottest brand of sneakers ans sports shoes back in the early 2000's. I used to have a pair of the traditional all white K-Swiss shoes back in the day. Well, now K-Swiss is back and better than ever!

In celebration of their recent redesign of their shoes, K-Swiss Canada held a brand re-lauch event at Bunda Lounge. I had the opportunity to attend this event along with my friend Nikki, who is an all around sneaker lover. Shoes are my thing but I personally am not too much into sneakers, however, I do keep a few pairs for when I want to rock a more causal urban look. I had a second event to go to that night so I was a bit overdress, but I didn't mind lol...

Fashion Trends: Gladiator Sandals & Lace-up Boots Trend

This is the Gladiator Sandal reinvented and I love it! Do you remember a few years ago when Gladiator sandals were the hottest thing, only then they jus were flat Gladiator sandals that were predominantly mid calf length. Well now this hot trend is back with a bang, now rocked knee high, over the knee or with a heel. Many of the top fashion designers have since come out with their own unique gladiator sandal styles. Another current hot shoe trend which compliments the thigh high gladiator trend is the Lace-up thigh high boot trend. Both shoe styles are very versatile; can be worn casually with a simple T and shorts or dressed up with a short dress with bold accessories. Wherever you are trying to add a bit of edge to any outfit, a nice thigh high gladiator heel sandal or lace-up boot will definitely help to accomplish that edgy look.
