#MUSICMONDAY: 'Options' by NSG Ft. Tion Wayne

"I make money online, I make money in time!" This my jam bruv!! lol.

While away over the summer, I discovered this song and was immediately hooked! The song is 'Options' by British hip hop group NSG featuring Tion Wayne. I mean was so viral, it was everywhere. Anytime it would come on I would wild out in excitement, that's how serious it was.

Then my question would be, who the hell sings this song? After asking a few people, finally came to learn it was by an emerging young British Hip Hop group NGS, who also had a couple other popular songs over the summer. With my love for their 'Options' track, I am definitely now a fan.

MUSIC: 'Boasty' by ft. Wiley x Sean Paul x Stefflon Don Ft. Idris Elban

Looks like my boo Idris in jumping more into the music game as a rapper, with his feature in the hot new track 'Boasty' by Wiley x Sean Paul x Stefflon Don. It has always been known that Idris is heavy in the music industry as a DJ, however it's dope to see him switch it up by rapping on a track. As for the song itself, I'm really loving the mixture of the UK grime with dancehall vibe. Also, the young boy playing the main character in the music video is super cute!

Travel Diaries: My Very First Trip to London, England 2012 Throwback

I love London! Serious...I really love London and wish I could live there.

Ever since the first time I visited the UK, I fell in love with the city of London. Everything was so different. Europe in general has such a different vibe than what I am used to in Canada, or even North America in general. London in particular I found to have a cool European vibe that intrigued me.

Since My very first trip, I have visited London a number of times. I even traveled to London a few years ago to celebrate a milestone birthday. Therefore, I will be sharing a travel diaries series on the blog recapping each of my trips to London. So, to start things off, here is a look at my very first trip to London back in 2012...

Last night was the 2018 MTV European Music Award and Nigerian songstress took home the award for Best African Act. This makes her the first female African artist to do so. Another great accomplishment for an African artist on the international stage and well deserved!

Men's Fashion: Wizkid Walks Dolce & Gabbana Runway Show

Wizkid is out here making big international moved!

Over the weekend, Wizkid set social media on fire with his surprise appearance as a model in the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2019 Men's fashion show, which took place in Milan Italy. To be walking the runway for a major international fashion brand is a big deal for any model. However, this is an even bigger deal as this makes Wizkid the first African artist to walk the runway for Dolce & Gabbana. On top of that, they even had him walking the runway to his hit song 'Soco,' thus also providing some exposure of Afrobeats music to a new audience. His fashion look is maadd dope also!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

Time for #MusicMonday! Since I'm just coming back from London Town, it's only fitting that this weeks feature will be latest song by Mr. Eazi featuring UK rapper Giggs 'London Town.' :) This is a pretty dope tack! With the addition of Giggs, it has a more hard hitting hip hop beat, which is not something we are used to from Mr. Eazi, however he still maintains a bit of Afrobeats flavour to the song. Mr. Eazi back again with another hit, and this time brought along one of the biggest UK rappers along for the ride. Love it!

I'm currently in the UK for the Bank Holiday Long weekend, so just wanted to give y'all a quick shout. I am in love with London and love it more and more each time I come out here. I think I need to seriously think about moving to the UK lol.

#MusicMonday: 'Want it' by He3b

Happy Monday!

When I tell you my whole weekend was consumed by this song and the Instagram video of the two British-Ghanaian brothers He3b & Joee3b singing it, it's no joke LOL. It was this Instagram video that first drew me to this great track. Not only are these brothers fine, but they are also very talented musicians. 'Want It' is a track by one of the brothers, He3b. After I got over all the beauty of their instagram video, I was finally able to take in the actually song and I'm definitely feelin' it. And as always, it has been on constant auto-replay ever since!

Sports: Serena Williams Making Tennis History

A BIG congratulations to Serena Williams who won her 6th Wimbledon title over the weekend, which is also her 4th Grand Slam title in a row this season and her 21st major Grand Slam title overall in her career, which is just one behind the all time leader.

This latest win make her hold all four grand slam titles at once. Next up for her is the US Open, which if she wins will make her the first tennis player to win all 4 majors in the same season since 1988. Serena has also become the oldest Wimbledon champion at the age 33.

Travel Diaries: My London England Style Profile

I love traveling and have travelled A LOT the last couple of years. One of my favourite places that I visited was London England. I'd been there briefly before (well actually just the airport for a connection flight lol) but I've always wanted to actually go and do a proper visit to London but didn't know anyone there. Well, that changed once one of my friend moved to London to do her Masters, yaaayyy for me haha!

London is such a great city! I am so in love with their fashion, and London men dress so well even when just out casually which is impressive. While there I to put a bit of London Fashion flavour in some of my outfits. I had such a great time while there, had some funny adventures, met some cool people and definitely shopped A LOT on Oxford Street! I could definitely see myself living in London, oh how I wish.

Music Feature: British Rapper Lady Leshurr's 'Queen's Speech'

This girl is fiyaahhhhh!!! She may look small and young but she packs a big punch with her killer flow. She's got bars and punch lines for days, has a sick flow and got the ultimate swagg in her delivery, all back by sick banging beats.
I recently discovered her as she has been trending on social media. When I checked out her 'Queens Speech' tracks, It was so good I replayed it the whole day, especial Queens Speech Pt. 3 which is my fav!

She is definitely raw talent that will be a nice fresh and new addition to the rap game, and British accent adds a nice touch to her flow. With the attention she is getting and her videos going viral, she looks like she's definitely on her way to blow up!
