So...are airports open for international travel yet?? 🧐 LOL! The Rona has killed my travel vibes so all I have been able to to do reminisce on my past trips.

Y'all know I love to share my travel adventures with you, but it's usually hard to keep up with posting while having fun & enjoying my travel experience. So, I'll be sharing throwbacks to my past trips, like this trip to Amsterdam last year that I just realized I've never shared anything about it at all on here lol...

MISS G: Hello From Ghana...Year of Return Enjoyment Has Started!

Hello From Ghana! Hot girl summer may be over, but hot girl harmattan has just started!

It is now the much anticipated climax to the Year of Return in Ghana, with the biggest events and largest influx of visitors in December. I have just been in town a few days and the city is already packed! So many events will be occurring in the next couples of weeks I can barely keep up, but I am so ready!

Miss G: HELLO 2019!

HELLO 2019! Happy New Year to all my Afrofusioners!

New year, same ol' G...with more great content to share with y'all :)

So grateful and blessed to have made it to the new year and so thankful for all of you that continue to rock with me and The Afrofusion Spot.

I spent my holidays and rang in the new year in Ghana (of course!) and had a blast. In addition to my usual turn ups, this time around I made a lot of effort to network and connect with creatives in Ghana. Through this I met a lot of great people doing dope work. This has further inspired and motivated me to put even more work into growing this Afrofusion Spot platform and make it the best it can be.

I always have a lot great content I want to share with y'all, however finding the time to put it together and post is where the struggle lies. Therefore, this 2019 is all about focusing on maintaining consistency in producing quality content. Laawwddd, give me the strength to keep this year resolution LOL.

I love London! Serious...I really love London and wish I could live there.

Ever since the first time I visited the UK, I fell in love with the city of London. Everything was so different. Europe in general has such a different vibe than what I am used to in Canada, or even North America in general. London in particular I found to have a cool European vibe that intrigued me.

Since My very first trip, I have visited London a number of times. I even traveled to London a few years ago to celebrate a milestone birthday. Therefore, I will be sharing a travel diaries series on the blog recapping each of my trips to London. So, to start things off, here is a look at my very first trip to London back in 2012...

However, Miss Eseeri is way ahead of the game when it comes to solo travel, so one can look to her for inspiration and tips. Hey Hey Hey! Send y'all some love from London town!

I'm currently in the UK for the Bank Holiday Long weekend, so just wanted to give y'all a quick shout. I am in love with London and love it more and more each time I come out here. I think I need to seriously think about moving to the UK lol.

Travel Diaries: Visiting the Nike Art Gallery in Lagos, Nigeria

As you all know, this past December I travelled to Lagos, Nigeria to attend a friends wedding. I had quite the experience while in town, which I have already shared a bit about on Instagram and will definitely also share on here.

While in town, I had the opportunity to visit the Nike Art Gallery, which is located in Lekki. I am a big lover of African art, so was excited to learn that Lagos had large and popular gallery showcasing the work of various Nigerian artists.

Travel Diaries: My Stay in Golden Tulip Accra Hotel

As you all know by now, I have been traveling to Ghana every year during the Christmas and New Years holiday season for the last few years. This is a trip I always look forward to, as they say, there is no place like home!

In my last few years, I have decided to try out some of the beautiful hotels the country has to offer. Since I have stayed in a number of great hotels within Accra as well as Kumasi, and have also visited hotels in Cape Cast and Aburi. One hotel that I have have had the pleasure of staying in while in Accra is the beautiful Golden Tulip Accra hotel.

Miss G: Hello Again & Happy 2017!!! :)

Hi Everyone!

I'm Biiiizzzzaaaacccckkkk!!! Happy 2017! LOL

I know, it's been a hot minute since I last posted, did y'all miss me? :)

For those who follow my on Instagram (add me up if you're not already), you know that I was away enjoying a wonderful vacation within the African continent. As some of you may know, this is a trip I take yearly to back home to Ghana, and while within the continent I also will visit another African country. This time around, I also traveled to the beautiful city of Dakar in Senegal. In addition, due to missing my flight connection back to Ghana, I ended up spending a day in Lome, Togo which turned out to be quite an adventure!

Travel Diaries: My Stay in the Omni Chicago Hotel

In this next installment of my Chicago travel diary, I'll be sharing my experience staying in our fabulous accommodations at the luxurious Omni Chicago Hotel in Downtown Chicago.

Now, you all know I love the spaciousness of a hotel suite, so when looking for a hotel to stay in during our quick trip to Chicago, the all-suites and luxury of the Omni Chicago Hotel was perfect! In addition, we wanted to be in a central part of downtown, therefore its location in the high-end Magnificent Mile area right on the Michigan Avenue strip definitely fulfilled this requirement. This allowed us to be in close proximity to attractions, restaurants and shopping...

It's been a busy travel filled last few weeks!

Pardon my absence the last few weeks. Y'all know by now it can only be due to one reason...Travel! LOL! So, had back to back weekend trips these last 2 weeks, where visited the Windy City of Chicago and then enjoyed some heat in Miami. These two trips were definitely jam back and lots of fun!

Happy New Month! March Orange Feature of the Month

Happy March everyone!

Sadly, I missed that last 2 months of orange features, so wanted to make sure to get back on track this month.

The orange feature for this month is this beautiful orange African print clutch purse that I pick up during my trip to Ivory Coast in December. Of course, I was drawn to it right away when I saw it! I had been looking for something nice to bring back with me to remember my wonderful trip to Ivory Coast. I didn't want a basic souvenir that I would most likely put away, but rather wanted something that I would potentially use on a regular basis. This cute purse fit that bill exactly. I can't wait to rock this piece on an upcoming night out on the town :)

Sorry for being MIA for the last month, as I was away enjoying my fabulous vacation to Ghana & Ivory Coast. Of course stay tuned to the blog for my full travel diary on both trips soon on the blog. I'm back in the 6 now, and its been pretty hectic getting back into the swing of things. Plus, jet lag is a b*itch! LOL! However, I am slowly getting back into my regular routine :)
