Gone are the days where one wrapped their hair in order to deal with a bad hair day. Head wraps have become a very trendy and fashionalable items to add to any outfit. African print head wraps in particular seem to be leading the pack when it come to this trend.

Recently, I was honoured to be a bridesmaid for my good friends wedding. Of course, in preparing for the wedding day we all had our make-up done by make up artists. Our make-up artists for the big day were Beat by Banda which is comprised of a beautiful team of 4 sisters Chimwemwe, Mthunzi, Salima & Onani from Zambia and based in Maryland. I am usually very simple with my makeup so it's always nice to get dolled up and get your make-up done by a make-up artist from time to time....

So, I'm currently natural, transitioned about 3 year ago. Decided to go natural because I had a lot of breakage which were making my ends very thin and uneven. So in an attempt to grow back my hair full and thick I decided to go natural. It was a big struggle in the beginning figuring out what to do with my natural hair as it is very coarse and takes a lot of time to manage it, time that I don't really have. Dis one be original 100% Ghanaian hair lol! So in preparation for my transition, I did A LOT of research into taking care of natural hair and natural hair products as well as natural hair styles for all lengths.
