During the early Fall months when its getting colder but still a bit warm in the day, my go-to jacket is always a trench coat. This still allows me to stay warm in the cooler weather, while still being stylish.
Trenches are typically worn in a neutral colour, such as beige, black & navy blue. Although, one tends to gravitate towards coat in one solid colour, why not add some spice to it by getting one in a bold bright color or print! I have been wanted an African Print trench coat for a longest time, so was excited with I received this beautiful piece by the Lagos based Nigrian brand TMP Fashion. I absolutely loved the mix of neutral and bring prints within the jacket, as a result I decided to keep my outfit simple so as to let the jacket shine. Therefore, for this look I paired this jacket with a grey midi dress and black lace up booties. The longer length of the dress and closed toe booties provide perfect for fall weather. Furthermore, to accessorize this look I wore silver jewelry in order to keep within the neutral grey notes.

This would be a great look for night out for dinner or to attend an event. On the other hand, this jacket can easily be dressed down as well by styling it with a pair or dark denim jeans and a basic t-shirt. In a future post, I can definitely share this casual style alternative.
