It's Easter long weekend and I am definitely looking forward to having the extra time off. So, of course I need some cool Afrobeat vibes to get me nice and chill for the long weekend. A great song for this is 'Mafuzzy Style' by French Congolese musician Dadju. I first heard this song during our recent Afrobeat Karaoke event, as one of the attendees sang it. However, I never really took it in until my brother came over to my place and was jamming to the song. First of all, this shocked me since he is not one to really listen to Afrobeats lol, but after the shock wore off I started to really feel the vibe of the song. Shout to my bro for putting me on to this song, and since this weekend is also his birthday weekend, this post it for you man! :)
It's also very fitting since Mafuzzy Style is actually a birthday sing dedicated to Toronto Raptors basketball player Serge Ibaka....who I am also dying to meet, holla! ;)
