Spotted!: African Print Style at the Museum

Spotted!

Over the weekend I attended Royal Ontario Museum's Friday Night Live event which included a showcase of local African fashion designers. In addition to enjoying the beautiful fashions on display during the event, I was also happy to spot these 2 beautiful ladies in attendance rocking some fab African print looks...

Esiya ~ Zambian

Jacket: Zambia / Bodysuit: American Apparel / Pants: H&M / Shoes: Zara
I was immediately drawn to her beautiful African print jacket. Esiya explained she got it from Zambia by a local designer. In addition to her jacket, I absolutely loved her necklace. I was definitely feelin' the all black neutral base of her outfit in order to have the jacket shine. An overall well put together look!

Bag: Thrifted / Necklace: Forever 21
Teni ~ Nigerian

Top: MADE Pieces / Pants: Asos / Shoes: Boohoo
Next up, I spotted this very cute off the shoulder African print top. I really liked her African print fabric and its geometric shapes. Teni explained that her top was custom made by Nigerian designer MADE Pieces. In addition to her top, I was feelin' her hoop earrings and liked that fact that she opted to keep her neck bare without a necklace. The created a very balanced chic look. You can check out the designer of her top HERE.

Looking fabulous ladies! More coverage on my time at this event is coming up next on the blog.

So remember, when you're out and about rocking your African fashions look out for me, I might spot you next! :)
