Afrofest 2016:

It's that time again y'all! Afrofest 2016 is finally here!!!

This annual 2 day African cultural and music festival is going down this weekend and will be jam packed with great performances, delicious food, vibrant african fashion & art, great people and all around nice vibes. In addition, this year the festival will be headlined by popular Ghanaian Hiplife music duo Ruff & Smooth.

I look forward to this event every year and its always a great time.

The fun continues after Day 1 of Afrofest at the official Afrofest afterparty.

As part of their 'Future Routes' music series, Harbourfrount Centre will be featuring performances by a number of African & Caribbean artists.

This series will include performances by Nigerian Afrobeat musician Orlando Julius & The Afro Soundz, Haitian Kompa music band Lakou Mizik and award winning Jamaican playwight, dub poet and performer D'bi.Young Anitafrika & The 333.
