My Picks & Faves: Chic Orange Styles at the AMVCA's

Continuing in my coverage of the recent AMVCA's, I just have do a feature on two particular looks that went down the red carpet. It's all about the standout orange fashions looks worn by Nigerian celebrities Uti Nwachukwu and Ivie Okujaye. Yes, they are wearing my favourite colour and they are wearing it very well! These bold style choices had them standing out in the crowd, and for good reason...

Let's start with Uti`s suit. It is always a daring choice for a man to wear a full coloured suit, however, in this case Uti`s burnt orange double breasted suit was an excellent choice and definitely made a great style statement. I also think that he accessorized it well with a black bowtie and black pocket square. This suit is by Nigerian bespoke designer Caesar Couture.

Ivie Okujaye

Now, this dress right here is giving my life! My attention was immediately drawn to it as soon as I saw it. I just love everything about it from the colour (of course!), to the black flower applique and the high slit is everything! *Insert heart eyes emoji* This beautiful gown is by the Nigerian fashion brand DZYN. I need this dress in my life! Stunning!

Aside from from the fact that they are wearing my favourite colour, I honestly rate these two as the male and female best dressed of the night, hand down.

So, if you want to make a bold fashion statement, wear and orange outfit ;)
