As I finish off my look back at my time at 2015 edition of the African Fashion Week Toronto (AFWT), here a closer look at what I wore to the African Fashion Industry Awards night. As per my theme throughout the week, I wore some form of African print in each of my looks for each event day from my AfroGlam Designs clothing line....

For my final look, I rocked an AfroGlam Designs African print flared skirt. As it was the awards night, I wanted to be a bit more dressy but still simple. To compliment my skirt, I paired it with a navy blue peplum top. Peplum tops are usually paired with fitted pants or a fitted pencil skirt, however I really love the look of a peplum top layers over a flared skirt with the addition of a cute waist belt. I feel it adds a chic flirty dimension to the look.

Furthermore, I accessorized with gold tone jewelry. I barely wear this snake bracelet, so decided to add it to this look as a statement piece. I kept it neutral with a nude done show and waist belt, but at the same time included and I purple clutch purse as an accent. It is always great to include an accent colour in an outfit.
