A few weeks ago I was invited by a friend to attend a media tasting event for the recently opened Provo Food Bar. Located downtown at 30 Dundas St. W., Provo is gourmet casual dining restaurant serving a wide variety of brunch and dinner items as well as a selection of signature drinks.
This event was attended by many fellow food bloggers, all eager to try out the items on the tasting menu. The restaurant has a clean, simple design consisting of a large bar and ample seating. After we were given time to check out the spread of menu items laid out on display, the tasting began. During the tasting, we were offered a great selection of food and cocktails.

At the end of the evening, each guest was given a gift bag filled with goodies.
Had a great time at this tasting and everything was delicious! My favourite items on the tasting menu were the smoked trout salad, the braised beef cheek and of course the chocolate tart.
I will definitely be coming back; would love to try their brunch menu.
