Lookbook: It's all about Burgundy

Although Spring has officially started, we are unfortunately still experiencing the cold winter weather. Therefore, in this transitional seasonal time, why not rock some coloured outerwear to brighten things up!

Burgundy is one of my favourite colours to wear during the winter. I like that its deep tone brings a pop of colour to a look, without being too bright in a gloomy winter setting. Therefore, when putting this lookbook together, Burgundy was the obvious colour of choice.

Check out more of my Burgundy style lookbook...

Bag: Aldo / Jacket: Steve Madden
This Steve Madden jacket is one of my faves among the many pieces of outerwear I have in my closet. And you wouldn't believe how cheap it was...only $30!!!

I picked up this beauty during a quick weekend trip to Buffalo in the Fall with a few friends. I found it while shopping within the Walden Galleria mall in Buffalo. It instant caught my eye while we were walking in the mall and once I tried it on and saw how great the price was, I was sold! I just love how stylish and versatile it is. Its collar style makes it look great when worn both open or closed.

Pants: Winners / Shoes: Target
I love a colored pant, and burgandy a great colour option for this. It's deep shade allows one to worry less of being too bright, while at the same time being a bold enough colour to stand out in.

Furthermore, paring a coloured outfit with a neutral bag works the best, so as to not overdo the amount of colour in your look. This bag from Aldo has become one of my go-to bags whenever I'm heading out. It's neutral shade as well as its simple sleek design it great for dressing up and casual look. This piece is one of the items I picked up during my Black Friday shopping spree in the Fall also lol.

When accessorizing a burgundy look, it is best paired with gold or rose gold tones jewelry.

Necklace: Aldo / Bracelet: Ardene / Watch: Citizen
What colour did you wear a lot of this winter?
