Food: The Fancy Nancy Dinner Party

Another throwback and a continuation of the previous post...

After the K-Swiss event, I trekked all the way to my friend and fellow blogger Miss Fancy Nancy's place uptown for a holiday dinner party. With her love for food and a love for entertaining, one is always in for a treat when attending a Fancy Nancy event.

My look for the night: Cape, Skirt, Shoes, Necklace: Charlotte Russe / Watch: Movado
Table Setting
Living up to her name, Nancy had a very fancy and elegantly decorated table setting for the dinner party. I really liked this table setting look. Funny enough, my outfit matched it a bit as I was also wearing black and white stripes. I should have taken a pick beside it before dinner started...oh well, lol.

My spot :)
Wine & cheese for starters
While Miss Nancy finished up the food, we all hung out in the living room where enjoyed some wine and cheese to start as we chatted, laughed and caught up. Now, I'm not really into the whole wine and cheese thing, just give me some wine and I'm good lol! However, after I tried some of the Boursin cheese on the fresh baguette of bread, I was hooked! I especially loved the cranberry & pepper flavour.

Yummy Feast
After a short while, the food was ready so it was time to eat. Nancy really outdid herself as she had prepared a very large spread of food for her dinner guests. Everything looked delicious.

Turkey carving time!
The carving of the turkey marked the commencement of dinner and we were all ready to dig in!

Pass the gravy please! :)
It was overall a fabulous dinner party. Had such a great time with great people, and everything was delicious!

So...Miss Fancy Nancy...When is the next dinner party ;)
