Events: Face of African Fashion Week Toronto 2017 Model Search

It's that time again to search for a new model to be the Face of African Fashion Week Toronto (AFWT). Last year Frances Sesay won this coveted title, and has been slaying the runway and model game all year.  Find out who will become the 2017 Face of AFWT at their 4th annual Face of AFWT & Industry Networking Mixer which will be going down on Saturday, April 29th inside Toronto’s luxury hot spot Posh Supperclub...

On Saturday, April 29th 2017 the Fashion Ready Organization, organizers of the fastest growing diverse Fashion Week in Canada (African Fashion Week Toronto), will be hosting their 4th Annual Face of AFWT & Industry Networking Mixer on Saturday, inside Toronto’s luxury hot spot Posh Supperclub located at 50 Cumberland St. in downtown Toronto.

TIME: 2:00pm - 6:00pm

The event will provide an amazing opportunity for established and upcoming models to make new connections with key fashion industry influencers, in an effort to develop and enhance their modeling portfolios in an interactive fashion industry networking environment. Industry professionals including photographers, models, designers, casting agencies, bloggers and many other high profile attendees will be present to network and have access to the pool of talented young models participating in the search. Hors D'oevres, Swag Bags, & Giveways will be provided. Limited advance tickets are on sale now for $15 until April 1st.

The event will be hosted by Erika "The PR Diva" Enyolu a multifacet business entrepreneur with a key focus on Public Relations, Events Management, and Social Media Marketing. She is the President of PR Diva Communications an entertainment & lifestyle public relations agency that connects luxury brands and celebrity influencers to the world. Kayla Greaves is a lifestyle writer and editor, currently working at The Huffington Post Canada. Before landing her current gig, she was at Sony Music Entertainment and also wrote for BuzzFeed and Upscale Magazine. She covers a diverse range of topics from race and women's affairs to pop culture, fashion and beauty — all from an issues-based perspective. Outside of work, Kayla's a self-proclaimed master chef and an avid animal lover.

Isaac Ansah is a serial entrepreneur with expertise in the branding and marketing industries. He is the Co-Founder of African Fashion Week Toronto, a reality TV personality on the Golden Button fashion series on Afroglobal Television. He is also the braindchild behind Imagine Management Marketing (IM&M).


Olivia Jordan is an editorial stylist turned fashion journalist. She is the creator of https://Jordannhope.com/ and fashion contributor to the new online magazine Style.ca.
