Day 2 of the 2015 African Fashion Week Toronto marked the start of a series of runway shows by the various African designers participating in fashion week from all over the African continent, North America and Europe. It was a great night filled with beautiful African fashions from student designers as well as emerging local African designers. Because there was just too much fabulousity during the show, I'll be sharing my Day 2 look and experience in this post and have my next post cover the designer collections that went down the runway...

My front row seat awaits me :) |
I had the perfect front row view of all the runway shows throughout the night, which was great an allowed me to get great shots on my camera. Thank you to the PR Diva Erika Enyolu for providing me with the opportunity to conduct media coverage of all the AFWT events for The AfroFusion Spot. After the all the runway shows ended, I had the great opportunity to meet a few of the designers that had showcased their collections as well as some of the models that were fiercely working the runway.

There were also a number of vendors present at the event selling a great variety of African fashion items. A few of of the designers that presented their collection on the runway also had a vendor booth selling ready to wear pieces from their collections. This made it possible for attendees to get fashion pieces right off the runway.

Day 2 Style Profile: 'Orange Radiance'
On Day 2 of AFWT, I again chose a more casual look and dressed it up a bit with my accessories. Y'all know I had to wear my colour at least once during the fashion week, so Day 2 was the day! To start, I rocked a simple straplesss orange top with black and gold accents from my AfroGlam Designs fashion line. I just love blazers, so my Navy blazer with an orange crest nicely complimented my AfroGlam top. I paired this with some ripped denim jeans to add a bit of edge. Again for comfort, wore a pair of booties, this time a black pair (Yes, I have the same shoes in different colours LOL). To dress this look up, I added some bling with a jeweled necklace and my 'orange feature of the month' bracelet. In addition, I included some gold accents with an additional gold bracelet, gold watch and earrings. I completed this look with a long strap gold chain linked black bag.
