This is the most anticipated African Fashion event in the city each year. I always look forward to it and have been attending for the last 4 years. It is so amazing to see how much they have grown each year as they continuously set the bar higher with each years production of the event, as well as the caliber of designers that showcase on the runway. This year will definitely be no different and a guaranteed great time.

African Fashion Week Toronto is the fastest growing diverse Fashion Week in North America. The program was established by the African Fashion Canada Organization in 2012 and has developed into an internationally-recognized event. AFWT continues to grow each season, creating a community of designers, models and industry professionals who shape this unique experience. This year they celebrate their 6th year inside the Globe and Mail Centre, August 30th to September 2nd.
It will be a star studded edition featuring local and international designers, including the attendance of Princess Tessy of Luxembourg from the royal family who will be receiving the 2018 Global Empowerment Award.
