The 2017 edition of the Oscars award show aired last night and it was definitely one to remember!
Moreover, of course as is the case with all award show, the red carpet fashions are a major focal point leading up to the show. There were many interesting looks that came down the red carpet this year, however, one that stuck out the most to me was Singer/Actress Janelle Monae's Elie Saab gown....
When I tell you I love this gown, I absolutely LOVE this gown on Janelle. She was the best dressed of the night hands down! We all know Janelle's style is more eclectic, therefore this gown and all it intricate details was perfect for her. I love everything about this the look from the sheer top to the dramatic pooffed bottom, and her cute hair crown like band. Her jewel encrusted choker necklace looks a bit painful thought, but still fab! It is an all around fresh, fashion forward look, with a lot of interesting details.
She is just giving me life in this look!
