Over the weekend, the funeral for anti-apartheid icon Winnie Madikizela Mandela wad held in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was and still is the true definition of a strong African woman, trailblazer, leader and visionary. I truly admired how apologetically outspoken she was. She inspired myself and many women with her strength, passion and determination to fight against racism, fight for the rights of South Africans and women across the world
Forever the mother of the nation, may her soul rest in peace.
