Fashion: Feature Photoshoot & Interview with 2017 Supermodel Canada Winner Nini Amerlise

Following our recent wonderful feature photo shoot with the 2017 Supermodel Canada Winner Nini Amerlise, she joined us in The AfroFusion Spot's for an exclusive sit down interview.

Having been in the modeling industry for quite a few years now, Nini Amerlise aims to serve as a light of inspiration and encourages everyone to feel comfortable and confident about the way God made us—beautifully and wonderfully made! During this interview, we had a chance to learn a lot about Miss Nini, her experience competing in the 2017 Supermodel Canada competition and her personal journey as a model in the fashion industry. With her fierce runway walk and effortless high glam poses, one would think that Nini always wanted to be a model, however as we chatted with her, we discovered that she actually came into the modelling industry expectantly.

Photo Shoot

We spent the day shooting on location in busy streets of downtown Toronto, which was perfect backdrop for embodying the theme for this shoot which was 'the modern woman on the go.' Nini rocked a mixture of chic, modern and urban looks featuring clothing by 8090 Apparel as well as accessories by Willland Canada and Annalay Accessories. The photography for this shoot was done by the very talented Lloyd-Phillip, and also styled by the wonderful stylist & Afrofusion Squad member Keshia Charles,
